Not with a salvage title and the speedo and odo not working; who knows how many miles are on the truck. Also, a V6 in a reg cab...correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that combo was ever offered. Sounds too skeevy for me.

Honestly, I'd take that one compared to the one you have, considering ur tranny took a dump. BUT that one apparently needs some work so its a toss up since you might have to invest some $$$$ in it to get it 100% working. your call man

I don't mean to threadjack but wow, a v6 in the reg cab...I bet that has some nice pep. Pisses me off that toyota doesn't offer all the goodies available in the extra and crew cabs for the reg cabs. Anyway, for me, I would stay away from salvage vehicles...but that's just me. If you do buy it, just check with your registration laws when registering a salvage title.

well heres an update. the seller sold the truck but kept his ad up. so that makes me a lil angry. second yes the salvage title and the the broken speedo is a turn off but the combo of the reg cab and v6 and 5 speed and 4x4 is to beautiful to pass up. and as for my tranny. if your gonna get a new torque converter. might as well get a whole new tranny. which equals to almost 3 grand new. (cause parents wont buy a used one) so im still in the search. im driving a back up taco for he time being.
