She just rolled over to 60,000 miles :( Now I am just waiting to find my transmission on the garage floor in the morning  All I got now is the 60 months Rust-Through Coverage. Oh well so far so good, no complaints from me.

My 08 is only 8 mos old and already at 12.5k. The miles are racking up fast. But so are the mods. :D

My uncle has an '86 4x4 with 6k miles on it.

And I bet it has had less problems than my 9 month old 5,000 miled Mazda3.
Have fun with it! Just because it's old doesn't mean there still isn't fun to be had.

Sorry dudes my bad, it's not an '86 it's a '93 with 6k on it. His '86 was his old truck. The guy is retired and sits at home and drinks beer all day long. I think the only times he uses the truck is when he takes it to get an oil change. I wouldnt' believe it myself but the thing looks like he just drove it off the lot still.

Thank Ford for being too involved in your car. Luckily my 03 P5 was made in Hiroshima, Japan. No Fomoco/other for me. Wife's 06 VolvoFord S40 sucked balls badly.

Back on topic..............I've got 7yr 100k drivetrain warranty on the Taco.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it. I have have had far more problems with my wifes 06 Explorer than the Yoda. Here's to another 200,000 miles:cheers:

5100's all around - fronts at 1.75", 265/70/17 Bridgestone Revo 2, HID headlights and fog lights, factory skid plate, ss exhaust tip, tube steps, Access roll-up tonneau cover, Redline hood struts, 6 D-rings, seat MagLite, LED dome, fumoto oil drain, DTRL, fog light anytime, Kenwood/Clarion speakers, Pop-N-Lock 5300, LED bed lights and a few other things...
My dealer threw in a LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY on my 2009. The only thing that sucks about it that I have to follow their maintenance schedule and document EVERYTHING. I can do the work myself but have to keep receipts (oil changes, tire rotations, etc).

I can have it serviced anywhere and it's a transferable warranty that stays with the truck no matter who owns it. A good sales point when it comes time to sell.

ME TOO! that was a major selling point for me. i bought it to keep for a LONG LONG LONG time. i have owned it for about 5 months and i think im around 2700 miles? i barely drive it becasue i ride a bike to work and i usually have a 10 year/170lb old mastiff  riding with me that i havent even TRIED to get in the truck, so that means i have to squeeze her in my car! :D

so far i have wet okole's, weather techs (which do an AMAZING job retaining dog vommit  thanks to my other dog) and a LEER 100R with adventure package.

hopefully next income tax return will be wheels and maybe a lift.

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
ehh... 60k is nothing. Mine has 217,000. Mine only came with a 30k warranty, but I never worried about it. These trucks don't need warranties anyway.

My Aunt does, he's got it made.

I'm looking to hopefully make it past 200k on mine. My old '89 made it to 220k before it got into an accident and even then it was still going strong.
