Good headlights for 2nd gen Tacoma

Are lights junk if the driver (you) aren't getting blinded by the scattering light due to poor design? Are the lights junk if laws in the US are not enforced for light output, viewable distance, et al? Hmm...

This Jeep driver behind me last week would argue that their lights are great and they can see just fine. No regard for anyone else on the road.

 

I mean no offense but I don’t know what the hell the you are talking about. I’ve viewed my lights at night numerous times standing in front of my truck at a distance to check them. No scattered blinding light. They look just fine, no problems. Over the years I’ve had numerous 2009’s coming at me in the opposite direction, the light looked just fine,no problem, not blinded. I had a friend who had a 2009 Taco who followed behind me for over 100 miles at night thru the Nevada desert highways, again no problem. His truck was factory stock. If I thought my lights were a problem I’d change them, but they aren’t. So if you are unhappy with your lights or the people in your neighborhood are being blinded, by all means change away.
