Hello all. Just found the forums here a week ago. Terrific site!

I'm both a new and an old Taco owner. I picked up a new 2010 4x4 Access Cab, 6 cyl, 6-spd Manual, Wednesday night. I love what Toyota has done to the 2nd gen models. Perfect size. Perfect balance between ease-of-use as a daily driver and utility as a put-it-to-work vehicle.

Last year I bought my wife a 2009 4x4 Standard Cab, 4-banger, 5-spd Manual. (With the addition of my 2010 model this week, we're now a 2-Taco family).

    Previous to that I owned:

1997 4x4, Extended Cab, 4 cyl, 5-spd Manual, 1st Gen Taco. Put right at 300K miles on it.

1989 4x4, Standard Cab, 4 cyl, 5-spd Manual, pickup (pre-Taco). Put over 300K miles on that one.

1984 4x2, Standard Cab, 4 cyl, 5-spd Manual, pickup. Put over 200K miles on that one.

I look forward to all the thoughts, perspectives, and advice on the forums here!

    Jeff
