Yeah, that's a real concern to be sure. You should just sell it to me and then you won't have to worry about it. :D

This is about what I get with mixed city/highway. About 300mi per tank.

I've been getting about 23 mpg on highway driving. I wonder if that would increase with the super charger. If I got a 1 mpg boost it would only take 20 years to payback ;-)

Are you having to run super unleaded all the time or can you run mid grade?

The engine is capable of retarding the timing enough to accept mid grade but my engine has never seen anything but 91+ octane at least its what's recommend for the TRD Supercharger

With the 3" pulley I was averaging 16-17 city. Not much highway driving here.

with my s/c i see between 15 and 18 mpg depending on how heavy my foot is. 9mpg towing my toy hauler, 12mpg doing 95 down the hwy for the whole tank, and 23mpg towing a boat up to the lake a few months ago (the 23 was a shocker, guess the whole towing forcing me to slow down helped) waiting for the warranty to be up on the s/c then gonna do headers, pully, cai, and some sort of tuner as the funds are available. (excited cause i'm getting close)

all in all, i'm about 1mpg down from my 2007 that didn't have the s/c, but it really is all about how you drive it

updated: just got back from towing the toy hauler more loaded down and into a headwind, 6.4 mpg. wouldn't shift out of 3rd and ended up stuck at 4k rpm and 60mpg

My city improved a little. My highway has been the same. I am the exact same situation, I bought the smaller pulley, but I am going to wait until spring to put it on.

Heading from LA to Flagstaff through the night. I knew it was bad when I could literally watch the fuel gauge moving.

95mph + (Los Angeles elevation: 233ft above sea level & Flagstaff AZ elevation: 6,903ft above sea level)...might have something to do with 12mpg.

If your worried about the mpg's which probably not i wouldnt install the smaller pulley, if fuel mileage is not a concern do it...I bought one then situations had changed traveling to see gf every weekend so decided to sell it. My city stayed the same or dropped depending on driving my highway improved noticably, wish I can be traveling at 65 mph here on these freeways but semis would pass me and even grandma lol

I wasn't worried about the mpg. It shouldn't matter even if I have a 2 inch pulley on there. With the bypass valve, I should never be in boost on the highway unless I decide to floor it around someone. My fear was being too much for the motor and keeping my 5/60 warranty with the supercharger.

Did you get the URD pulley thats red or the one that looks like factory equipment pulley? Thae make the black one for that reason if anything goes wrong hopefully they wont catch it being smaller
