I just bought my truck in July. It's on 08 Access Cab V6 4x4 with a TRD supercharger. I'm getting a whopping 16mpg on the highway running between 60-80. Does that sound right? Granted, it's got BFG all-terrains and JBA headers on it.

Easy driving and occasional sprint I got 16.5 mpg (per scanguage) on the tank after the one in the above quote, and looks like it's about averaging 16 mpg on the latest fillup.

Gotta ask about this. What's the bypass valve do and how is it yielding better mileage for him? Is this something I can do to a NON SC Tacoma?

Shit, after just taking a trip to South Lake Tahoe it seems like I averaged 22-24 on the highway, redonkulous numbers compared to my previous GTO car, that thing only got what seems like 10 and 15... Lol.

Bypass valve is for FI only, for the SC it negates the engine of being in boost while cruising. There is no way you can do this on a NON SC Taco.
