good price for Baja Front fenders?

    my buddy bought some baja fenders for his 03 first gen pre runner for 650$ and totaled his car before he got to put them on. so two questions
    1. those will fit my 97 right?
    2. he wants to sell them to me for 500-550$. can i get them cheaper anywhere else?
