I'm sure you all love these posts....but here goes!

I'm looking at a new 2017 Access cab TRD Sport 4x4 with the Premium and Technology packages.

Dealer is offering it at 35k out the door. Good deal?

That Out the Door price can be good or bad, depending on what your tax rate is and what other fees they are tacking on.
Do you have the Sticker price and a breakdown of other fees? That info will help determine if it is a good deal. Dealers can hide dollars and make it sound like a good deal, until you go over it line by line.

    So stock.
So I paid $36,500 (which was $40k OTD after 8% CA sales tax, title, and license) back in August for my 2017 DCLB with TRD off-road, premium & tech package (but no JBL), door sill protectors, all weather mats, and bed mat. This was $1,000 under invoice. I’m happy with the deal I got.

Not apples to apples, but hopefully this helps some.

The dealer near me has it for $35,153 and that's after some $1,700 off gimmick. It's not an OTD price though. That would tack on another $3k or more.

Out of 21 used and new Taco's on the lot, this one was the last one.

$35k out the door seems reasonable. Toyota doesn't dicker around on price too much.

The "processing fee" they hit you with can be $600-800. Delivery is usually $900 or so.

So that OTD price looks better and better the more I think about it.

Sticker price is $37,936. I live in Oregon...no sales tax here.

You are going through the process. It is only a good deal if it is a good deal between your ears, so you're seeking some positive affirmation. You have already bought the truck, my friend, and I can only say there is not a better vehicle made to pay too much for. Mine is nearly 4 years old and I could still sell it for close to what I paid for it. Welcome to the forum, JD. (not while driving)
