I sold my 01 2.7 for about the same price 2 or 3 years ago.

Crawl underneath, nothing is rust free here in Florida

I think that is a nice deal. Look at it like this -- if it had 268,000 miles it would still bring $3,750 or more.

Just be prepared to replace some rubber items that age through the years regardless of mileage.

Get it down to $6700 and feel good about $800 into the truck to make it perfect and pay a total of $7500 total! It’s worth it!

I would not buy it sight unseen or inspected. If you don't have the tools or skills, pay for a pro inspection, including a compression test.

That looks like an old photo. The condition of the finish may not match up to what you are seeing there. Of course I could be wrong, but certainly worth checking out.

Is there a reason you’re looking in Florida for a truck? If you’re patient It’s not difficult to find a rust free Tacoma in Texas.

I would contact a shop nearby in FL and have the seller drop it off for a presale inspection. Ask the shop to check for a blown headgasket. You can pay the inspection fee over the phone and even get pics sent to you

I bought mine in Texas. Can't complain about condition (i.e., rust) or the price.

Mine is originally from Texas. A local dealer bought it in Austin and brought it back to AR.
