Yeah I saw that. But again, all these lights are, well, off road lights. Not really "fog" lights. Just led lights in the fog light location. I think OP was looking for lights that actually penetrate fog. And I was hoping that maybe the amber covers would work, but don't think so on these smaller lights... The diffused amber cover really blocks the light, unfortunately, and the output was considerably low. I think these are best suited for spot lights alone with no cover except maybe a clear cover, or clear amber spot cover. Do you have any "spot"/"clear" amber covers for the 6" ones? I think those ones would definitely be better and with the increased output, the covers would be able to be used more effectively... But in the end, I think these lights will be solely used as spot lights on my end. I was just hoping these would work for people that want/need fog lights, and could have both with the easy snap on covers.

Oh and even though these are 'narrow' spot lights, they do have a pretty wide beam at the end where they "stop". One light pretty much lights up the entire road at the end. So I ended up aiming them outwards a tad. That's why I thought these would be great for fog lights with a narrow beam, being able to penetrate and see far down the road as possible in fog/dust.. But idk, fog sucks, and snow sucks, and dust blows, you can't hardly win against mother nature, lol. That's why I love az (the valley), she tends to leave us alone for the most part. ha.

If you're set on amber color for Fog, and LED, then I would recommend actual Amber LEDs, rather than just a filter. This is because of the color wavelength that the Amber LED produces is just the amber, not a range of other colors combined, where as a filter still allows much of the other colors in the spectrum through.

This is true and good advice. The Amber LED chips themselves work a lot more effectively than covers do.
