I just bought myself a set of TRD Pro wheels and I am curious as to what there is for a good quality black MAG lug nut. I considered modifying my OEM nuts but I fear the finish wouldn't hold up. Is there anything to worry about using a "cheap" nut? Are black caps a better option? Let me know. TIA!

I ended up going with Orion off of Amazon and have had no complaints so far

I only go for Mcgard or at the very least, Gorilla.

I purchased a set for my camaro off ebay and the first time I used it, the threads stripped right off the nut. Torque spec calls for 140ft lbs. It couldn't handle it which makes me question what would happen if the wheel was stressed while driving.

I immediately tossed them in the trash and got a set of Mcgards. There is a considerable quality difference in feel and weight.
