Hey everyone, I just bought my first Tacoma. After spending hours and hours searching and researching, I pulled the trigger on a 2017 Tacoma SR5. While test driving it, I turned the bass EQ all the way up on the stock stereo and was a little disappointed. That was a given though, since I had a 500w powered 10" sub in my 4Runner. My previous sub was perfect for me, it was plenty loud enough and gave me an enjoyable listening experience without the bass overwhelming the actual music. I would like to get (preferably) a powered sub that fits in the space behind the back seats of a crew cab. Only reason I would like the powered sub is because I am not the most technologically advanced and would like something that is a little more plug and play.

I recently did an upgrade and added the Kicker 12 Comp RT. I never did an audio upgrade for a car before but it wasn’t too difficult. Just time consuming. Initially I was going to add a powered sub or go with the OEM Audio Plus but ended up going this route.
