Good Trade In Value?

I had my truck appraised yesterday at Toyota for a trade in value and the number they gave me was $10,000 CAD for a 2005 BSP TRD Sport DC LB with 250 000km's on the odo. No major mods other then bullbar, wheels, tires, tauno cover.

Whats your opinions there fellas and lady.

 

I'd brows the local news papers, internet and even other dealers to see what similar trucks are being sold for. I find dealers always under-bid the value of the trade in.

 

Personally I would try selling it to a private owner. You can almost always get more then a dealer would give you. But it will take longer. Definately get blue book value.
