I just traded 25 boxes of new PMC Bronze .223 for a slightly used Geissele SSA-E trigger.
    Did I do good?

Thank you for an honest opinion sir! :)
I offered to sell the .223 for $8 a single box of 20 or $7.50 a box for all the boxes locally on the forum and nobody was even interested.
I have a feeling by the end of the year it might be worth double that.

At least I have a nice trigger that would have gone in a nice AR if the AR hadn't fallen into a deep river when crossing by canoe. LOL

I'll keep you in mind as I may be selling some PPU M193 ammo after the rest of the PMC is gone. Shipping would be a deal killer though.

Not possible after the canoe tipped over and you ended up a half mile down river.

After looking at several ammo sites recently this stuff is now going for $20+ a box of 20. I'm glad it went to a good friend of mine.

    Same crap everyone else got
Nothing is worth it's market value until you actually decide to sell it. If you were never going to sell the ammo in todays market, its worth what you paid for it. If you paid less than what you can find that trigger 2nd hand or new then its a good trade. If you paid more than the value of that trigger than you traded into a loss and you have to ask was the loss worth it to help a friend that needed ammo and didn't need the trigger, or whatever other circumstances contributed to making the trade.

Ha, your not in Cali. .223/5.56 in any form is no less than $12-$15 per box these days. The sad thing is I used to buy 250 rounds of SS109 for $90 back in the Pre-Obama Days. The cheap stuff was like $50 for 250 rounds. Nothing like scared people with lots of money to drive economics to insanity.

So I’m from Illinois which is almost communist and I’m vacationing out in Utah with my fiancé (working remotely, drove out here, beautiful) and I can finally find some ammo.

    $800 for 1000 rounds of .223

    forget it

I have reserves but I am not shooting it because who knows what’s gonna happen after November

SSA-E trigger sells new for $240, so you sold the ammo for $9.60/box or less, if you consider a used trigger would sell for less than a new one.
