Whew had a little scare tonight, started getting some really bad chest tightness, I'm always worried so I had the doctor check it out, had an X-Ray done and it's something called crepitus: when air gets in your sub Q layer. Beside the discomfort the surgeon said no danger and it should go away by itself. On a worse note I haven't had a real meal since last Saturday. My stomachs been jacked all week from surgery, never have I craved a burger and fries so bad! Hahaha

Update: sounds like the plan to remove my last two chest tubes is going down tomorrow, that will be such a big help! No oxygen...no chest tubes... Il be hooked up to 1 IV! That blows my mind. I can't wait to see what it feels like to be completely sealed up and not being sore 24/7 :)

Yah I'm pretty stoked about how well everything has been going :) I'd be ready to go home if my chest wasn't still so sore and sensitive.

Pain management still needing some tweaks, getting OxyContin and oxycodone and neither are really doing anything.

Sounds like my chest tubes still have some draining to do so probably won't get them out until tomorrow :( eh oh well, the faster those are out the more anxious I will be anyways haha

    Hospital Goals!
    1. Walk at least 3 times a day.
    2. Get out of bed for at least half of day.
    3. Get chest tubes removed(ASAP)
    4. Get neck main line removed
    5. Educate about my home meds
    6. Set up clinic appointments
    7. Ship back all my Oxygen supples!!!!
    8. Fucking lay back and relax.

Doctor said I can go home as quickly as up to 24 hours after I get my last two chest tubes removed. Soon as that happens I just need some education, some scripts, a ride and a clean pair of undies.

Shooting to get this chest tube ASAP tomorrow if not then by Tuesday without a doubt.

I don't know who donated this miracle gift to me but where ever you are, who ever you are... Thank you! Thank you god! And thank all of you for your prayers and words. Completely plan on writing a letter to the donor family.

Sweet beejeebus this has been one hell of a week!!

Craziest week of the last two years of my life.
