    back to bone stock.
    gonna hit a bigger lake. see how the new Hobie behaves, compared to my older boat.

    one bass..ONE bass, that is all i need. love to slime up the kayak alittle bit.

    Yeah they’re pricey, but to replace the pedals (penguin drive I think they call it) is something like $600… but between the speed/fatigue ratio, the comfy ass seat and the rudder, I feel they’re worth it! We’ve had ours for atleast a year and they’ve held up perfectly.

    WOW. I jinxed myself. I literally caught one single bass that day. one!! on a crank bait in a fit of "Hail Mary".

    Hobie are the shit. there is no better kayak in current and wind. the fins, almost have a "hole-shot" affect. the boat just takes off from a standstill. I can't imagine making a run for some ocean beach with a propeller poking out the bottom of my kayak.

    all good, if I pooped money, I would buy a Native Kayak just to try it out.
