We use a1 topper on colfax for work trucks, and I had them redo some stuff on mine when I brought it back to CO. They seem to do good work.

sub'd for future reference. I definitely need fronts tinted. The ceramics are the way to go, had them on my old VW(black on black) and they blocked a lot of heat. That was in CA, I don't know how I've survived with the intensity of the sun here in CO.

Trigger happy gave me a solid quote, but for the most part I've realized tint shops are rapists here in Denver... Literally get top of the line 3m ceramic or whatever brand you want for about 300 max in Houston. So far I've gotten 3 quotes over 400 one of 500... Think I'll be giving my money to trigger happy or a shop in Houston next time I visit the parents

That's some ridiculous pricing.. seriously. I'm under charging... :) I do anywhere from 50-80 cars a month, mostly wholesale for dealerships. So sometimes, scheduling is a little tough, but we will always get customers in. Thanks for the positive feedback!

@SamsTaco that wouldn't be legal in this state and a while back they started really cracking down on installers. They face some pretty hefty fines, far more than you as a driver if 'caught' with it. Some details are best left out of social media.

Got my windows tinted at Cody's shop, extreme autoworks. They did a great job.

Got my topper at A&A on west colfax. Great people, worked with my schedule to get it installed promptly. Had an issue with how the hinge was mounted on the windoor from the factory. Brought it over and they fixed it for me, no charge.

    Just for reference: C.R.S. 42-4-227 Sections 3a and 3b:

    (3) (a) Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this subsection (3), any person who violates any provision of this section commits a class B traffic infraction.

    (b) Any person who installs, covers, or treats a windshield or window so that the windshield or window does not meet the requirements of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than five thousand dollars.

For the record, a class B traffic infraction penalty is covered at C.R.S. 42-4-1701 Section 3, and is a minimum $15 and maximum $100 fine.

What can you expect to pay ballpark just to tint the 2 front windows (top of the line ceramic tint) just to match the back?

I've been slacking on this... need to get this shit done!
