There are many threads worthy of being shat on, but this isn't one. Unlike so many of the guys here that endlessly bitch about their trucks but refuse to do anything about it, OP actually followed through and got something that'll (hopefully) be a better fit for him. Zero shame in that, and in fact, I'll give him props for doing what's right for him.

And instead of sticking around and "bragging" about his "oh so much better" vehicle, like a couple other certain degenerates around here constantly do, he moved on with a fairly classy "thank-you for the help provided."

I'll be parting with my 2nd gen when the time is up, and Toyota certainly dropped the ball, so i won't be buying another new Toyota... But I'll stick around for the cool people.

 

Im telling you right now, trade that dumb car back in, unless you got your hands on an original ford gt, then forget it, but anything else trade it back in for a second gen, find a nice 06, 07 with no fucking "traction control" and it will hold you hostage for the rest of your life! We dont need traction control where we going... sideways, all day long!

At least you followed through and destroyed the turd gen before it destroyed you

I agree with you 100%. He did not like his truck so he got ride of it which is what he should have done. He did not hang around and cry about losing money on getting rid of it. He set a good example for all the unhappy whiners to follow. Especially one guy on here who has constantly griped about his. He thinks that he is going to cost Toyota business with his whining what a joke.

 

I love it when people do this! It gives the rest of us an opportunity to get something almost new for a decent price.

Hey I give him props.....over the past year I tried the 3rd gen I had a ton of issues that could be resovled. Traded for a new tundra.....and felt like I was a kid borrowing my father's truck everyday....so went back to a 2nd gen and I happy as a pig in slop. Once the 3rd gen is figured out it will be great. You do what cha gotta cause it's your ads making the payment every month might as well enjoy what your paying on.

 

Arguing cars and trucks is like arguing religion and politics.
