I have a Featherlite 9409 Bumper pull. I guess I should have been a little more specific. My Tacoma will pull everything it just gives me fits when fully loaded.

On a side note, I did go looking today and I found a few that stuck out. So far the best deal I found was on a Rock Warrior Tundra. Gotta love buying through a Toyota employee.

I also found a 1997 F250 for $7000. Pretty good truck that would do what I want plus able to keep the Tacoma!

I like that one. It would be really cool to have both. What kind of shape is the Ford in though at that age?

For a truck that is almost 15 years old its in pretty decent shape. Its an XL 4X4 with the 7.3 Powerstroke, 5-speed and only 147K miles. It has a few dents around the bed and the interior does show that it is a 97. As far as I could tell everything works except the passenger side window does not roll all the way down. But with manual windows, easy fix.

That auto mated with the IH 7.3L diesel is crap in my experience. You'll have constant problems with glow plugs, and the auto is crap.

Oh I figured that was what you meant. I've actually been looking at the same issue. That's why I suggested the different trailer. Personally I'm ptobably going to find a user Brenderup because we only really need a two horse trailer but if we needed more than that I'd be looking at the Fautras. I personally would not want to have to try to keep and maintain a second truck just for towing and I do like the Tacoma.

I was having that same battle about having two trucks to maintain, insurance, gas and etc. but I also weighed about driving a full size everyday to and from work. I really like the 22m.p.g I get in my Tacoma.

That being said, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the F250. I ended up getting it for $6700. Ill post pictures after I go pick it up.

If I was in the market for a fullsized truck it would be the F150. I had a '10 Tundra and didn't care for it.

I just did the opposite back in Oct. Sold my 05 F150 FX4 and picked up an 07 Tacoma for about the same price. I miss having 4wheel drive, but my next Taco will have it. What I don't miss is the well over $100.00 fill ups every week. Best of luck to you...

You can buy the Raptor at MSRP without additional markups by pre-ordering. For example, speak with the Internet sales manager at Chino Hills Ford.
