Trading in my 2006 PreRunner DCLB. Was my dads before me. 170k miles, never had an issue. New job has me commuting 100 miles a day so I figured its time for a new one.

Well since the dealer told me they don't F'in come with floor mats, I bought the all weather ones that say Tacoma from the parts department for $96, does that count? I can get some pictures of my sweet floor mats?

I really suck at taking pictures, but here is a quickie:

    229325C6-2455-41A5-AE24-D637ED111E39-530_2bf77cc9db1da028d72fddf09828df77f8b51b6c.jpg

Ignore the overgrown bush and dirty Saab behind it. I'll take some more shortly, and some of my sweet $96 floor mats.

    Too few to list.
Congrats on the new truck though if I was to drive 100 miles a day, a Tacoma would not have been my choice for mpg reason. I would have kept "Big Red" and bought "el cheapo" for that.

    Congrats on the new truck

Should have gotten weather tech floor liners. Much better than those, and only a few $ more.

That's what they claimed. Due to all the recalls. I know the weather techs are nicer but I just wanted something and to get out the door.

The dealer could have/probably was not telling the truth, but I saw the truck as soon as it got to the dealership and there were no floor mats in it. Who knows?

As far as mpg concerns, this is probably the best mpg I've ever gotten in a vehicle. All have been Toyota 4x4s or GM LS1/2 based sports cars. Besides, I'm getting a company car within the next year. This is my first ever brand spankin new vehicle and I'm excited to start havig some fun with it.

Side note, this is my 4th Tacoma, and I also had a 4x4 FJ.
