To all those who attended, thank you. Thank you for representing this community and being there to support his family, I am sure it would have meant the world to him. I’m sure it was a tough day- but remembering the fun, funny, and good times will cement ricks legacy here indefinitely

Same here man... I had minimal interaction with Rick but was very sad to see this thread and it's been on my mind all week. He clearly made a huge impact and helped build TW into the amazing community it is. My heartfelt condolences to all of Rick's friends and family ✌️❤️

Yesterday evening on the way home, I was thinking about Rick and how many people he touched. Then I had side thought hit me, the number of people I have meet on here and are in my life one way or the other. This forum is a belnd or truck stuff and family that you didn't even know you needed until suddenly there were there. I had to call 4 people in case they had not heard and I was called by a great on here to make sure that I had heard, which I hadn't.

Rick brought 5 people into my life by simply being a great guy and allowing people to talk about anything and everything, and sometimes trucks. If this seems rambly, I am sorry, just trying to say he had a much further reaching impact than just online and just trucks.

    Rip in peace, My Brother..................

Heartbreaking, but inspiring to see what this community can do to help people. I’m so sorry for his family, but I hope they get some comfort knowing he mattered to people here also.

Oh My God, I just found this and I’m so so sorry for your loss‼️ He wanted to purchased a little something from me, I told him BS just send me your address but he insisted. I didn’t want to take payment from him because I PM a few times about the gentleman that wasn’t having a good day throwing garbage by hand. As I drive a garage truck for a living but that’s how I started so many years ago and had days just like that. We joked about it a few times, he will definitely be missed! He made me really laugh so many times and now I’m crying (sorry I’m human) again I’m so sorry for your loss. Why do the good ones have to leave so soon….

This is the only "good" shot I got yesterday. It was good seeing everyone come show support. I hope Rick would have liked the front row of Tacoma's.

    Rest easy

This is very important. My brother didn’t and I had to bury him. 34 years later I still don’t know why. Now we have forums with thousands of listeners. If Rick’s legacy includes the impetus for one less tragedy elsewhere that is immeasurable.

Misfits are the best. I grew up as the town freak and still revel in it. The fact that I have been a fan of the band Misfits since I was 7-8 probably helps

Yup. Especially the past couple of years. Being sober, that feeling of being isolated is a real thing

Saddened to hear of Rick's passing. We never communicated other than a few times on here, but he was a huge asset to the TW community and it's clear from everyone's accounts of him that he was a standup guy who will be dearly missed. Sending my condolences to his friends and family.
