....It true though. Before 30k miles on the Hondas, One went thru 2 sets of rear brakes, Window regulator, and passenger mirror. Second one went thru 2 CV's, and door trim. Only thing that the Jeeps got fixed, was the evap canister, that I fucked up, and they warrantied anyway.

The OP doesn't have to leave here.

He is now Taco-less, that qualifies him to become a mod. :D

One bad toyota shouldn't keep you from getting another reliable toyota vehicle.
With that said I understand your situation and bitterness of the unhelpful expirience and wish you the best of luck with your purchases'

lmao. he is the 1st guy i know that has owned one, all others have been girls. he has a 2” or 2.5” suspension lift with i think 2.5” or 3” body lift and 33” tires. he had a 4x4 taco with 6” lift, every pot hole or curb he would hit he would have to go get a new alignment.

To be honest most salesmen at toyota have no idea what they are talking about when they sell a truck, or at least in my experience. I know there are some pretty cool salesman out there but I'm just talking In my experience. I went in to buy a tacoma. I knew exactly what I wanted. I knew more about the truck then the guy selling it did. He didn't know the differences between the trd sport and the OR. I had to go to 3 different dealerships just to get some good service. So I know what your talking about and I can understand why your done with toyota, not because of the car basically, but because of the company. So with this I say goodbye good sir

Anyone that lives in In Florida, Bradenton Toyota has great service and from my experience, they care about the customer.

I think they sales man BS is on a dealer to dealer bases. The sells guy at toyota of knoxville where i got my truck knew everything i did, and even knew about the site(tacoma world) said he was not a member on here but had looked at a few things. some dealers train salesman in Cretan cars/truck. they sells guy i had only sells/sold tacoma’s, tundra’s, 4 runners and the FJ’s. he even said he can tell you just about everything about those vehicles but could not tell you much at all about any of the cars or vans on the lot. the dealer i get my service at(it’s closer) i never had that luck when looking at truck there. One guy did not know very much and made a few things up about the tacoma’s that i knew not to be true.

Same could be said about the reputation the Tacoma has been riding for the past 10-20 years.

I bought my truck at Russel with no complaints really. Only annoying parts were finance guy constantly trying to sell me extended warranty for over 20 minutes of me telling him no, them trying me to get financing through them when I already had check in hand from credit union and then their marketing person calling me and hounding me constantly about their stupid survey. But, I got the truck I wanted, for way less than every other MD dealer and the salesmen was quick. Enjoy your Nissan, I like them but I feel more comfortable with Toyotas reliability and off road capability.
