I am looking to upgrade the OEM brake lines to stainless steel braided lines. Clearly there are several options such as Crown Performance, Wheeler's Off-Road, and StopTech with 3rd Gen. specific fitment, however, given my exceptional experience with Goodridge brake lines on sports cars, I am interested in their product (21155) for the Tacoma.

The Goodridge Premium Performance Brake Lines catalogue, along with most websites, lists these part numbers as compatible with 'Tacoma 2005-on' with no specificity of the 3rd Generations. I came across a statement that the pair of front lines included in this kit are designed for all 6-lug, 4-piston caliper Toyota 4x4 applications, with the rear pair being applicable to the (wider range) OEM drum-spec applications. The '2-' & '4-' designations being for the '+2-inch' and '+4-inch' over stock length 21155 kit.

Carried out a search and there were zero posts on the 3rd Gen. forum mentioning these lines installed... Does anyone know of compatibility with, or has anyone successfully fitted this kit to their 3rd Gen. (Sport/Off-Road 4x4)?

    Thank you.

I bought them for my 1st gen 4r, and they are of high quality. Perhaps i'll grab a set for my 3rd gen...

    Bump.

Does not a vibrant soul drifting through this World of Tacoma have information or experiential input on the matter?

    Bump II.

I tried getting a hold of Goodridge NA's aftermarket/motorsport division, to no avail.

Will keep trying them, however, does absolutely no body here have any input or experience with this kit on the 3rd Gen. 4x4 platform?... I literally have no idea where else to ask (might have to try the 1st & 2nd Gen. forums!?).

Any input or direction would help.

    Thank you.

    Bump III.

I assume (at the risk of making the mother of all f**k ups) the 'radio silence' on this matter essentially denotes that nobody here knows anything about this kits compatibility with our generation trucks?... If you have any indication whatsoever, your input is appreciated.

    Cheers.

If all the other kits fit both 2nd and 3rd gen... that means it should fit, right? Your questions are like the ones i usually post... no useful replies
