hey all, im putting new brakes on the truck today and ran into a snag.
the stainless steel lines I got don't seem to want to mount on the bracket.
Anyone use these? the bracket has a hole with 2 flat sides, the line almost wants to fit. heres a pic... any help would rock... thanx

nope, stock bracket. there is a C clip and 2 slots, one for the C clip and the other slot is for the stock clip..Im going to do opposite of what the instructions say and swap clips and see what happens. But meanwhile I'm painting my calipers :) I got tons of time.

I may have finagled them in place. The stick bracket is a stamped piece, I filed down the rough edges and it fits... Real tight and the line wants to twist a little... More hijinx ahead

Yeah I vaguely remember having to clean up the clip a little the last time I messed with brake lines. I won't recommend forcing it, but the hammer sure did come in handy!
