Will do, The response has been huge. I guess lots of people have wanted to help but didnt know how. The more information passed around the better.

 

Anyone drops anything off at my place, there's a sign out front. Neighbor's are going to keep an eye out for anything dropped off. So it can be secured.

 

Are you taking these donations up today or tomorrow? Have a large dog crate, canned food, and towels I can donate just won't be off work until 6 today though

Just a heads up for you bad asses making this happen. HWY 69 is closed between I17 and SR169. If you are dropping off supplies at the red cross shelter at Bradshaw High School they will make you take the detour up to SR169 and back down. It's an extra 15 miles or so.

The relief shelter is no longer at Mayer High School. They had to move it due to the fire threat.

 

Mayer High school is closed anyways. They shut down summer school and operations due to the fire.

 

Today, maybe tomorrow depending on how much we get and how much help they need.

Bradshaw Mountain High School at 6000 E Long Look Drive, Prescott valley is where the Red Cross Shelter is. Bradshaw Middle School is the fire command center and I am not sure if they are taking donations. Do you know Blake? I know that they are accepting donations of all kinds at Bradshaw Mountain High School in PV.

 

I work for Gatorade and I will see if they will donate a few pallets to help out!

 

Ah hell you are right, it is the high school. Brain is a little scattered out here. Contact number to ask about donations is 928-442-5103.

just talked to someone at the salvation army and she said they're serving food out of the cafeteria. Big #10 cans of fruits and veggies to serve multiple people would be helpful on top of the list i posted before.

Sounds like some Mayer residents were cleared to return to their homes at 10am today. Hopefully a sign that they are gaining control of the fire. Great to see everyone come together and lend a helping hand for the greater good.

Its coming along nicely... 10:45 is still early and we've already had several come by. More to come once i go shopping with the money donations.

 

I heard this as well. Its good news but still several cities still evacuated. Lots of progress last night with the fire but still only expected 30-40% contained by midnight.
