It was. Now it’s front left. Cross rotated the rears to front.

I've done five rotations @~5k intervals, I'm at 13/32nds on a 5 tire rotation per the last tire rotation two weeks ago.

Nice!! That extra tire helps for sure plus the LTs are 1/8 taller and the compound is a little tougher too! I got P rated

Ok so I just priced out 5 Ultra Terrain in 265/75/16 for my '15 tacoma 3rd pro at discount tire. Planning to have them installed at some point next week. They said they won't fit without trimming and I have been researching this and I don't see why they wouldn't....Can anyone verify? Figured I would ask to see. It is between these and BFG AT TKO 2 which I am running now in 265/70/16. Crazy that I am pushing 83k on the BFG they were stock when I got my Pro new in '15. Appreciate any input for sure.
    Thanks

They will fit no problem. You getting the SL or LT's? Just curious what is the cost per tire?

Good to know!! I was thinking the same thing. So the quote is for the 116s SL's. I am planning to get 5 to have a full size spare to use in the rotation. 157 per tire will my military discount, plus they have a $50 rebate until Monday. Should I consider the LT's or BFG AT's again. That is the toss up. It will be one of the two and reading through all the posts has me leaning on the good years.

I went with 265/75-16 SL Ultraterrains and have no regrets, in fact they are some of the best tires I have owned. Some guys prefer LTs but I didn't need them. The only reason yours would require trimming is if you had wheels with different offset than stock (look at post #502). BTW I have owned BFG ATs (not on our Tacoma though) and they are very good tires but I like the Ultraterrains better, especially in snow.

This is good information, I think the SL's will be fine for me as well. I Do some light towing, and living in WI now being good in snow is a plus. I am still running the stock wheels that came on my pro, not planning on upgrading wheels anytime soon but on the list to do eventually. Yeah My BFG's have definitely been good, not complaints. Looking forward to giving these a shot. Will update when ever they are installed.

That's a good deal for a set of 5! I don't regret spending the extra cash on the full size 5th.

Basically truck came from dealer with 275/60r20 (32.99") front 1.5" spacer up front and 1" block in rear. Went with SCS Stealth 6s for weight savings and 17s give a pretty wide range of sizes.
I moved down to the 285/70r17 (32.71") and only had minor plastic trimming in the front end. Here's what it looked like after installing with the above spacer lift on the stock OR suspension.20190528_165408.jpg
I did trim both fronts with the 285/70's:
    Driver:20191016_161714.jpg

    Passenger:20191016_161656.jpg

Then earlier this summer I jumped on a local member parting out/going stock, so I swapped the front bumper for his SSO Slimline + stage 2 (wings), I had to cut even more of the fender liners to avoid them flopping on the wheel while just resting, let alone driving...did it right there after we swap at the members place. I traded my stock front bumper for the SSO slimeline stage 2 bumper which opened up more front wheel well clearance potential.
Then upgraded my leafs and removed the block, then two months later my Elka suspension arrived and I removed the stock front and rear suspension.20200731_211208_001.jpg

I know it's a bit of a far cry from your plans, just figured it'd be helpful. The LT has more tread depth, weighs more, but surprisingly less than most similar aligned AT tires (likely due to only 2 sidewalls on these Ultra Terrains). I swapped and saved something like 64lbs just in the 4 wheel/tires on the axle...I think the stock spare swap meant I added 21lbs or so to the bed...but the 17 SCS wheels have to get most of the credit for the weight cutting over those 20s!

Not a lot of snow down my way, but they did great on sand, dirt and especially on wet roads...we've had quite a few opportunities with interstate speeds and standing water/pooling water standing on highways, too.

Thanks for all the information! Eventually..when my pro shocks are needing replacement I plan to put a different 2-3" lift and probably some method wheels. So that will save weight as well. I have the stock leaf packs in the back with an AAL since I have a Leer wheel on the truck. Not the greatest picture but here is my truck in the current state.

Nice! Don't change the wheels. I went out of my way to get a set of those. The specs are perfect, no rub. I painted the rings black (plastidip). I'm still on the Wrangler Authorities, which are similiar but a bit more aggressive and getting LOUD! 265/75/16 load C

I went with Dobinsons Heavy Leafs L59-111-R, I have an ARE hardshell plus another ~230# of EDC gear including the 285/70r17 spare in the bed...fyi I was able to fit that size spare in the OE location until I did my Hammer Hangers and added a cross tube.20200524_152132.jpg

Here was stock leaf on block lift vs. removing and putting in Dobinsons, I netted 2.75 inches in the rear.

Even though I really liked my Duratracs, they were WAY too loud on the freeway. Considering that I'm not a big mudder or crawler, I think they were more than what I needed, so I traded them in for some 265/75/16 SL Ultraterrains last weekend.

Drove out past Crystal Mill to Lead King Basin this weekend, and the Ultraterrains performed like champs! Big sharp rocks, wet slick rocks, to mud and gravel; I was really happy with them. It ended up raining/snowing, and I was worried about their traction on the way out, but zero issues. Depending on their long-term durability, these may be the best all around tire for me.

^ nice pics of the beautiful area and of the tires. I should get these loud Authorities off for the same reason but they still have some life.

I checked at my local Discount Tire, and they were willing to give me $30/tire with 7/32 tread left on them. If they hadn't been willing to give me anything for the tires, I probably would have just kept the Duratracs until they were dead.
