One week in after purchasing a set of 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultraterrain AT’s. I’m very happy so far with these tires, they are quiet on the road and have a very nice tread design. I paid $167 a piece at @Discount Tire here in Minnesota. I experienced great service as always from my go-to store.

I’ve had Duratracs, BFG AT’s and Mickey Thompson’s on my 2004 and so far these are by far my favorite. No balance issues and although not tested in snow yet, I think they’ll be great.

I’ve got them aired up to 35 and they seem decent at that level. I may play around and dump them down a bit to see how they respond. They’re mounted on 16x8 MB Razors with a 8mm offset. My truck is lifted about 2 inches and they don’t rub.

If you’re considering new tires, give these a serious look. I’ve had several people ask about them so far.

Do you think stock height would run these with new shocks?

    Noisy?

Whats the expected mileage on these?

I didnt even know they existed. Looks like a nice inbetween for the more aggressive duratracs and the less aggressive all season/all terrain wrangler trailrunners.

It would be close. I had 265/70/16 Duratracs before on stock wheels, stock worn suspension and they would occasionally rub the mud flaps in front. These ultras do come in a 70 series as well. Those would fit for sure

55k I believe. They aren’t noisy in my opinion, and that was a huge consideration before buying but they are aired up too. I may run them at 28-30 to see if that softens the ride. Not that it’s rough now but at 35 there are some pronounced clunks on crappy roads. On smooth roads though it literally feels like I’m gliding while slowing to a stop.

Good description on the “in between” completely spot on.
