Google Maps upside down this morning

So I wake up this morning and on my tablet I accidentally tap something that brings up a Google map. I noticed something doesn't look right, and then I realize that South is at the top of the map. I exited and loaded it back again, same thing. So I go to my phone and it shows the same thing also. Anyone else seeing this?

Also, I noticed you're from the South, and as we both know, everything is backwards in the South.

OP...no, north is always at the top of maps and is cold. South is always at the bottom, warm, welcoming and beautiful southern wimmens.

No sir... sitting on the sofa with my dog just like every day this time of the morning.... facing north.

 

Good looking pup! My choco lab better not see that pic though...she'll start whining to come in. She found a skunk or something dead to roll in and has been banned to the front porch until later today.

Hey I have to assume you fish down in sportsman's paradise? Anything you can let me know about yellowfins and winter fishing? Recommendations for a charter? That is a goal in the next few years...would be a first for me and for my son.

 

Could be the app didn't have its bearings and thought you were facing south. Could be a multitude of reasons for it. Usually tapping on the compass will lock north to the top and tapping on it again will change it to whatever way it believes you are facing.

Used to fish a lot, we always had boats in my family. But haven't fished in many years now. Work and running a business took too much time. Now retired, but too many aches and pains...
