Goose gear seat delete.....instructions?

    Thanks for the advice! I may have actually figured out the issue. I have a possibility at least.

    I was putting the bolts for the seats back into the floor as place holders until I can get new hardware. Turns out, the OEM seat bolts won’t go in all the way now either. They tighten down to the exact same depth as the Goose Gear bolts. After checking out the holes with a flashlight, it looks like there might be some rust in the threads.

    I’m going to soak the holes with some rust remover and then try again. That might solve the issue.

    In case anyone runs into the same problem as me in the future, the rust remover did work. I sprayed it into each hole on the truck where a Goose Gear screw would not tighten all the way. That problem is now solved at least.

    on the tacoma, the bolts are exposed underneath the cab so that can happen. I found that out trying to get my factory ones out but I didnt have any issues putting the new ones in.

    Makes sense, yeah I was surprised to see daylight down there when I took the seats out lol
