OP have you ever rode at Midland/Odessa motocross track? And if so, how did it look? I haven't rode there is years, very fun track.

Cool videos too! The best part was in video 1, when you stalled the bike or fell down (can't tell), and then said %*#$. lol

haha yea i stalled, i dont use my clutch, so if i come into a sandy corner or anything so i kinda have a habit of stalling sometimes.

As for midland/Odessa, i never made it that far actually, but i did do a new mexico arena cross series in HOBBS, whichs isnt to far from there, Ive wanted to check it out, the website always looked pretty cool. And my friend said he used to always go there for races.

lol....Yeah I never use my clutch unless I'm on a very tight corner I might pull it in slightly, or if it bogs down.

Yeah I haven't been there since 2000, when I was a kid and I learned how to ride on a track there. A lot of nice people and the track was always well maintained. Just wanted to see how it was doing.

For those using their gopro on bikes, where are you putting the mount & what mount are you using? I just bought the suction cup & handlebars mounts off Amazon. I had it on my helmet when snowmobiling but the extreme cold made the camera fly off. Luckily I noticed. Any tips?

Well mine came with lil sticky mounts and i put one on my helmet and the other on my front fender. Those work great ive never had the camera fall off with that or the suction cup. My friend wrecked with the suction cup and it fell off once, but thats it.

I don't think I let it set up or cleaned the helmet first before putting the mount on top. Also, I was going 40 which all contributed. It made me paranoid, but not doing the setup right & speed possibly contributed. It was zero out. I am thinking of added a metal fisher leader as a leash. Luckily no one was behind me on the trail

Thanks for the input, again I want to make sure I clean the area before appling & possibly use the metal fishing leader leash mod. :) The thoughts of it crashing on the pavement while on the motorcycle is my main worry.

Ive topped my bike out with it on, never had any problems with speed or bumps lol. Were you using the suction cup or the lil sticky mounts? If you have the same one as me with the little plastic case around it. That thing is pretty stout, my buddy wrecked with mine and it fell off the helmet ( because of the suction cup) and held up really nice. Try not to crash on the pavement, thats never fun :p

I was using the lil sticky mounts, the one with the curve on top of my helmet.
Yes its the HD & no do not want to crash on pavement neither me nor the camera. lol....
I also bought a roll bar mount that was designed by a guy on eyeofmind website. It is pretty cool & comes with a free tripod mount. We use it a lot, just not on my motorcycle yet.
Will post up some vids/pics when it gets all set up.

What settings are you guys using?

I bought one for my husband about a month ago. He put it on the corvette (above windshield outside) and the first trial run was all blurry as shit. I can't remember what the original setting was, but he changed it to 'center' ??? and it looked great.

Now....he mounted it to the side rail of an airsoft gun. Using the 'center' setting (I think). The first set of footage (in the woods) was great. The second set of footage (in sun) was blurry.

He's wonder what the hell he's doing wrong?

    Any thoughts?

I am guessing he has the HD model. Here's a link to the site with a much larger version of the instruction manual. I'm thinking the setting he's adjusting must under "Exposure Setting"

Yup, he has the HD version.

Thanks! I'll send that link to him. I'm not sure if he's seen that already or not.

He's been doing research trying to figure it out.
