Did you run your USB straight up the middle, or rig up a harness around the side? Im trying to get a permanent USB-c running up there but trying to find a creative idea so its hidden.

The first few videos have the windshield tinting showing in the upper left corner.

That's a nice area, haven't had the new Taco there but the old lifted Ranger had a blast there.

Do u have aftermarket tint on? I do and they went below the AS1 line. Had the redo it to be just above the AS1 line and it's perfect now.

I put a windshield mount on the outside of the windshield so it wouldn't be shooting through the glass. Had to cut part of the mount off so I could mount it high enough that the wipers don't interfere, but it works great. I have 2 Hero 3+'s and the wifi on both of them has quit working. If you look on the GoPro forums, lots of other people are having the same issues and customer service is almost non-existent. Looks like the Hero 5 is having problems also, but like all forums, you mostly see the problems and not the people not having any problems. When the wifi did work, I would use the phone app to line the camera up, then switch to the remote to turn the camera on and off as I was driving. Video quality and features on the camera are excellent and I still use the cameras when I don't need a remote, but I'll never buy another one. If you keep up with financial news, GoPro as a company has been going downhill. As others have mentioned, there are a lot more companies offering action cams these days. Here's a vid I shot in late May when my wife and I were in Rocky Mountain NP so you can see what it looks like mounted outside

No, all original 2016. The camera model is Hero Session, the little cube.

I use a special mount that my company manufactures that fits behind your rearview mirror along with a case from ProShot Case with a spare iPhone that I have. In my opinion, it's nice to have video recorded right at the center instead of slightly to the side.

Anyone know if toyota sell the OEM one that says "GoPro" on it? Had my windshield replaced and they replaced it with an aftermarket bootleg one that cracked even though the replacement glass is pilkington. OEM one just was way sturdier.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Has anyone added a GoPro mount to a 2019? I was thinking of just using one of the standard sticky flat surface mounts.

They used to be built into the windshields from 2016-2018. If you own a gopro, there should be a flat mount included in the box which is the same as the one the windshield came with. Otherwise if your looking for one to mount to the bed, they make a $90 attachment for that.
