Still Use a Screen Protector with Your Gorilla Glass?

    Correct, and I replied earlier in the thread saying all version of Gorilla Glass still can't handle even a single grain of sand. GG is awesome for impacts and the like, but it's not impervious to scratches. Get a screen protector if scratching of any kind bothers you, no matter what kind of glass you have.

    the only real reason to use a screen protector on gorilla glass is to help protect from breaks. scratching is hard on gorilla glass especially on Gorilla glass 2 technology. but if you drop it, it can still crack or shatter and a screen protector can help absorb a little bit of impact. slightly but it can still help.

    Sorry, but the bolded is simply not true. GG2 scratches just as easily as GG1. Again, small particles (like sand, dirt, etc.) will still scratch the hell out of your phone, no matter what kind of glass you have.
