Me too! Put mine on this afternoon.

Cheap Venum lug nuts I bought on Ebay are junk. When I was taking them off I saw metal shavings on 80% of them and got to looking at the threads and they were messed up in spots. I had them torqued to 85 foot pound's. Specs for Toyota is 83. I'm glad I decided to put these Gorilla wheel locks on.

My wife had locks on her tires and it never stopped a service department from rotating them. I am not sure if it is standard for all service departments to have various keys or if they just happened to have it.

You don’t need a key to remove them, just about any type of “multi socket” will do it, something like this.

    Gator strip!

Usually they just take the key out of your glove box to rotate them. or from the roadside assistance kit.

Agree it’s a shitty tool and there is no place for them in my toolkit. But it’s things like this that wheel thief’s use and it works well for them.

wheel locks are Satan's spawn! they are the plague of the earth! fkmm! everybody looses them or they break. or they didn't know they had them, dont know where the key is. if you work on your own vehicle fine. if you don't take them off!!!! any brand it doesn't matter. ive even seen people with steel wheels no hub caps with them. spline locks are the same but worse if you loose the key!
evidently no one here has tried to take them off without key or way to get new key?!? it can get ugly quick!

Just pop the Toyota symbol off and spray paint.... Easy.
