I can't stand how clean my truck is, the stupid Christmas wreath is off and I'm heading to Gorman for some dirt.

If anybody is intersted, I will be heading into the park around 10AM. I'll probably stay for no more than 2 hours, but anybody is welcome to join

Yeah! Engage took care of me very well. I've only got to fix a seal in my front driverside coilover and replace my rear passenger side 5100 and I'll be ready for dirt again- just not the Barstow kind :D hahaha in all reality, I'll hit Barstow again anyday- just not as hard. :)

They dont have as much mud, the deep pit is still there, and they added concrete construction pipes for crawling. Nothing that I will be doing anytime soon but looks fun for guys that have capable rigs.

meh... speaking of mud, my e-locker's kaput. I pulled it apart to find it caked in all kinds of dirt and mud. Cleaning it didn't do shit either, it still won't engage.

So now I'm an open diff prerunner... How gay is that?

You can remove the motor assembly from the 3rd and by hand with a screwdriver move the elocker engagement shift fork to engage or disengage the locker...its a quick trail fix that I have done myself

That sucks man, I remember someone questioning why the E-locker has a breather in a thread somewhere, you think you should have routed that somewhere too?

I should turn it into a manual cable operated locker! patent pending!

meh... $1K for an air locker? i think not. Worst case, I'll buy a whole 'nother factory locker motor and seal the damned thing

I guess it wouldn't hurt, but it didn't look like anything really got in through there. It's a really tiny hose thats already routed up into the frame anyway.

Fuck it, I got my 3" leaf pack and FOX piggybacks now so I'll just gun it through everything. Stay outta my way!

Me? You mean to go to Gorman? I didn't even end up going, I had to turn back and wait for some guy to pick up shocks from me.

I did cruise up to ACH in the afternoon though, found a couple mud puddles to roll around in and saw some snow

How much did you actually have to turn that gear in the housing?

I'm toying with the idea of turning it into a manual locker, like sticking a lever down there inside of the e-locker motor
