I like my uniden 520proxl with 4' firefly firestick II. U could just get a hand held kind I picked one up for like $35 on Amazon. Not much range but great for read trips or close by on a run.

I just ordered my CB radio... I decided to go for a cobra all in one. I like that I can disconnect it and it is not in the way..Hope its here by next week.
Mounting in an FJ..

 

so is this a good one to buy??? I was looking at a midland or uniden 40 chl both for under $50 after along search but I think I saw this one somewhere around $50-$75

 

yea that one is good one because everything is located on the handled. where you placing your cb??

 

I think im going to put in my center console similar to the second picture in my post further back so you cant see the connector..

 

I was thinking of under the stereo but If I go with this all in one guess the sky is the limit....lol.... but on the real I like the set up on pic of the Fj but maybe I'd put it on the driver side....

i have a cobra cb and a firestik II 4' whip, you MUST have 4' or more for it to tune properly it seems, mines mounted on my left bed rail and by the driver side leg in my truck

 

how big is gorman? im pretty excited

and a 4x4 area with like rockks and stuff, i think matt has some videos of his truck flying through a trail.. let me find it
