Well I want to do fast desert stuff. Im not into the slow trailing at all. I think a good MT setup will probably be good enough for fast desert trails but I think Ill be best off doing it right the first time and go straight LT since Ive noticed alot of guys going LT from their MT setups.

I want to go with TC, I think TC and AP are the 2 companies that let you retain 4x4 and I prefer TC over AP. So TC front and I have not done much research on rear LT yet.

I did read a suggestion on my other thread saying to LT the rear and MT the front, and after seeing that SEMA show Tacoma do what it does, that might not be a bad idea and it'll let me save a few bucks. Final decision is still up in the air though.

^ that's what i was going to suggest to you. a solid mid travel front end (CO's, UCA, nice poly bump stop) and LT rear end. you'll be shocked at the stuff you'll be able to take on with that set up

Definitly does seem like the smarter move. I think most guys go LT front first, than HAVE to the LT the rear instead of going LT in the rear first. You know Im going to make that my Plan A for now, MT front LT rear. I dont know if I should MT the front first and keep the rear stock or go LT in the rear first and have a negative bro lean to the stock front. What do you think Matt?

I'd just wait until you can afford to do it all at the same time. You can buy parts and stuff and just keep then on hold till you have it all and can install everything at the same time. Try to find deals on used parts as long as they are in good condition

Yeah that sounds good. Ill just have to get some tires now then, and probably paint my wheels black, hate the silver. Maybe even a locker in the mean time. Sounds like a plan guys! Thanks Matt.

Hey guys, what's the technical term for the long plastic pieces that are right by your door jam, the ones that people usually run amp wires through. I need a new one for my truck and I'm not paying $100 at the stealership, so I'm checking online. Any help please???

nonono, the plastic things that (on first gens) have like 3 screws holding them in the floor. right next to the seat on the floor. usually same color as the rest of the interior. ugh, i feel retarded because u ALL know what im talking about i just cant think of the name and am having a hard time describing them -_-
