Or it got me :) These truck explode on impact...$6500 in damages. That's the reason we have insurance I guess. Just placed an order for a new ARB Deluxe with new fog lights. $1008 with free shipping from AutoAnything.com.

good idea on the arb. the next bambi that runs out in front of you you'll just bounce him right off. you might want to looking into beefing up your front springs though, those arbs are pretty heavy.

    neglect, mostly.

wow thats not very assuring especially as many deer as i have around here. they just don't make them like the used to i guess. between me and my father we've hit like 4 deer in our 88 isuzu trooper, and not a dent. . . .makes aftermarket bumper/brush guard feel like it needs to be moved to the top of the mod list.

post a pic of yours when you get it repaired and new bumper put on.

It's mindblowing to me that our trucks don't hold up better on impacts, guess I just figure that beacuse it's truck. 1 or 2 zombies and my truck will be sidelined, better get to work on that now.

Damn, thats was quite a hit !!! First thing I did was put deer whistles on my front bumper, not sure if they work? CHP uses them so they might help? $7 at autozone.

they are designed to crumple...all cars/trucks nowadays are...so that the impact is absorbed by the vehicle and not by your body:)

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Damn!!! This is why I hate deer, only thing they are good for is salami or jerky in my eyes. They are the enemy to all nice vehicles, before my Tacoma I drove a old 78 Bronco and never came close to hitting one of the bastards, I cant count how many times I have almost hit them in my truck. Eventually I will be getting a heavy duty bumper on my truck so if I ever do hit one, it will pay dearly for stepping out in front of my Taco!

Deer whistles won't help. We put a set on my buddy's quad without him knowing as a joke and he got the biggest deer he ever got that year. :)

Why didn't you just use a rifle? Had a friend that used his old Ford truck to hunt moose 2 moose and 2 front clips in one year.
