Hey guys im new to the forum, looks like a wealth of information, glad to be here.
I came from driving sedans most of my life so I know nothing about tacomas. My boss gave me a 07 tacoma for work, it has about 117k miles on it, has a reconditioned title. The engine is in really good shape, and so is the tranny. However, the suspension has some issues, recently I had 3 separate shops check it out, they said front/rear shocks/struts need to be replaced. My Rack & Pinion is leaking. And another guy said that my inner tie rods are bad. Are these all normal suspension wear and tear items at this mileage? I'm wondering if I should save on labor costs and just change everything at once, including control arms/bushings/etc.
The only noticeable thing is that the truck is really bouncy, so much that it makes me dizzy driving it.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't say it's "normal", sounds like it was ridden pretty hard in those 117k miles. But if it's just the suspension that needs replacing, that's not so bad especially for a free truck. You could go the Bilstein 5100 route, it's relatively inexpensive and probably the most popular suspension kit around here. They're adjustable too for height if you wanted to lift it. If not, just leave them set at zero and use stock coils (sounds like your might need replacing).

For reference, I'm upgrading my suspension for a 2.5" lift using 5100's all around, OME 882 coils up front and 3 leaf add-a-leafs in the rear. You might just want to replace the leaf packs in general though on your truck.

Don't buy from O'really.(says the store manager of an Advance Auto Parts. Haha)

He's suggesting bilstein bc if you're going to dish out the money for some new shocks it's worth it to spend a tad more to do an upgrade while you're at it! Monroe and KYB will be stock style replacements.
