Got a new 2019 Taco - and it has a “noise”

I had a 2016 Taco. Very pleased.

Bought a 2019 Taco - 4 wheel drive.

There is a thumping sound coming from the passenger side door/seat.

If I’ve got a passenger = no noise.

At first I thought it was the window, then the seat . . .

Anyone else have these problems?

Passenger seat for sure. I’ll be driving (sans passenger) hear a noise and I’ll push on the passenger seats, seat back portion to put tension on it and my noise will go away.

 

Make sure the latch for the seat bet isn’t hitting the trim between the doors.

 

2019 TRDOR here: no interior noises thank god. I hate those. Interior is quiet as a vault.

 

Only sound I still get is the passenger seat rubbing on the center console. Guess cause it’s leather I don’t know but I have to lean the seat back to make it stop. Other than that, quite.
