Got a new to me, CPO tacoma. Got the "extended warranty"... Should I have?

    To conclude this saga. it is now about 15 months later and I just traded up to a new tacoma (needed one with 4 doors, baby on the way....)

    I got about $1600 of the original $1900 back to apply towards this new car from the warrenty since it is cancellable at anytime

    Sounds like you did pretty well. Warranty coverage with piece of mind , and then able to get most of it back.

    Thanks man! I do dig the new one a lot!

    Although I do think I got taken for a ride on the new trucks extended warranty.... $2100 toyota platinum 5yr/80k miles.... but meh. well see how it works out

    Yea I tend to burn through cars real quick... but in the past that has been because I have been buying cheap $2000 vehicles, or something cheap and impractical, or a "life change" persuades me to change. This is the first car Ive ever got new, and I am hoping to keep it a really, REALLY long time!

    Yes. You’ll have all kinds of suspension work around the end of your warranty.
