    A thing or two...
I hate spiders too! I dislike bugs in general but spiders are the worse. I get atleast 1 spider a week in my place. I hose those fuckers with bug spray and leave their corpses as warnings for their buddies, but they don't heed them. It's also great entertainment for the guys at work when I run across the room, yell "death!", and stomp/smash the shit out of them.

Hey, the angelfire link isn't allowing embedding, and I can't upload to my gallery, so I thought some of you might want to click directly to it

Edit: Oh, it's working now. Nevermind.

bites are where my fear comes from...ive been bitten twice...once on the face and once on my shoulder...both times the surrounding area got all kinds of swole up...

ive had a black widow crawl on my hand and a brown recluse climb onto my shoe...

not good days for me or them...the black widow was hiding under the leaf of a butterbean plant and crawled onto me as i picked beans...she died shortly thereafter and i havent picked a bean since (that was when i was in 9th grade i think)

the brown recluse was while i was using a camp toilet back in boy scouts...i didnt finish and had to go shower in order to wipe because i couldnt go back in the toilet stalls

oh the brown recluse died too

All spider haters stay away from here!
    http://www.gadling.com/2007/08/31/worlds-biggest-spider-web-found-in-texas/

I'm not a big spider lover myself, but my last house had some biggies so me & them had an agreement, stay away & stay alive. Just thinking about it gives me the heebeejeebees.

One of my weird phobias is puppet people, especially clowns (Klown has some fun with this so I better rep him so he won't post any up here! :D). Carnival clowns are the worst. Disney I can handle to a point. Team mascots are ok.

I had 3 phobias but I overcame my fear of speaking in front of crowds during my time as a marksmanship instructor. The remaining ones are hypodermic needles and heights.

I only have to deal with the needle thing once in a while but heights comes into play much more often. I have no problem at all if I know I'm secure ie: harnessed while firing out the door of a helicopter or enclosed on a ski lift... but I experiance an "extreme respect" for the law of gravity if I get close to the edge of anything much higher than 20 ft. I even avoid getting close to the glass railings at the local mall. Even the damned escalators there have them there so I stand in the middle and hold both railings. /shudder

spiders creep me out but i wouldn't consider it a phobia. i have a problem with sharks, and here's why....

if i were confronted with a grizzly or a mtn lion, i would be afraid. i wouldn't have a chance but at least we are both "in our element". we are both land animals. i could never outrun either one but i could still at least try. maybe i'd get lucky and fall off a cliff into a river or something and escape. or i could swing a stick or throw rocks or yell and try to confuse them. chances are i'm gonna get eaten but still.... you can at least struggle or try to fight back

but sharks..... those black eyed bastards will pop out of nowhere and drag you down into blackness. in the water you are out of your element and they are in there's so you cant even struggle or try to fight back. they are nothing but a huge swimming muscles with multiple rows of teeth attached to one end. and like i said, the fact you cant see them coming freaks me out so bad. its like a sniper but instead of a bullet it eats your face. Sharks (and any underwarter ocean predator, including giant squid) freak me out to no end

are those the camel spiders or whatever they are called? i've heard stories from guys that have served in the middle ease and said those things are terryfying. they can run down a camel and jump on it to suck its blood. at least that was what i was told, i haven't actually looked it up though so it could be complete BS.

For those of you that are afraid of spiders, look up the "sydney funnel web" spider. the most deadly spider in the world
