First dent/scratch/chip hurts a lot, second somewhat less, third, forth, fifth not at all. What I've seen over the years most owners get to the point of what the heck, it's just another...and pretty soon, they have a vehicle that's trashed inside/out, front to back and not worth fixing if you add up all the repairs.

i wouldnt pay any amount to remove the dent. if you park in public parking spots you are bound to get them eventually.

Its a truck (utilitarian vehicle) Its not a show queen

Its not a luxury car, its a 4x4 truck. What you pay for it doesnt change what it actually is.

Might be worth a try with the heat-gun, canned air trick. :notsure:

Back in the days when I was still OCD about my vehicles, I had a new '98 Ram, black, Sport,4x4, quadcab, beautiful truck. Got a ding right below the passenger-side door handle.
Took it to the best local guy I knew (a few trucks/cars/bikes made magazines) for the fix. After three weeks and three different try's at a match, he started talking about blending up into half of the hood. What a fucking nightmare, I pulled the plug. PDR wasn't a thing yet. I'd do it in a heartbeat now days...:annoyed:

My philosophy is if you're going to look at it everyday then get it fixed money's not as important as your mindset and your peace

I have a 2015 and i.get each dent scratch removed asap.. they bother me.. others probably wouldn't do that with their vehicle but I feel like it's just too new to not keep it up.. there's something about having a spotless vehicle that I daily drive and off-road

2nd this; also check with your local dealer... my old one had a paintless dent guy came to their place like every Wednesday or something like that... I made an appointment for something little; like clutch fluid flush with the Service Dept. and they had the dent guy do 2 door dings and a larger one like you've got there for $150 I think it was. About half what the local mobile services were charging at the time.

It’s a pretty small dent but I understand wanting to have it repaired. It’s only 75 bucks it’s not like your considering a 1000 dollar fix and it sounds like it bothers you. I say cough up the cash get it done and move on with life.

Depending on your relationship with your local dealer, talk to the used car sales manager and ask who they use or if you can get your truck in the next time the PDR guy shows up. Typical price is $25 per dent at a dealer.

I would have it repaired if it were my truck.
