Nothing wrong with keeping a nice truck nice. If it bothers you I say fix it. It'll help keep the value of the vehicle up where it belongs

Here's my 2 cents on the matter. Do you go to parking lots, drive on any trails, or leave your truck outside? if you answered yes to any of the above then life will grant you more dents and almost like clock work right after you get the truck back from paint and body you get another dent which will make you even more mad then the one you just had fixed.(personal experience just had my 30yr old Toyota corolla cleaned up and repainted was completely square then not even a week later on my way to school a wild f@#$&*g boar ran out of the woods wiped out the entire passenger side of the car rolled and kept on running). I'd say if it bothers you get it fixed otherwise leave it be its a truck and it will earn many more in the time you own it.

That's kinda pricey for an easily accessible ding. Could be that it's an Encinitas price. Try checking prices at another shop. Good luck!

Lol I'm not saying to go with the lowest bidder. Go with who you're comfortable with. But I think you can spend the time to get another estimate, can't hurt. Also contact the SD tw members chat and see if they can recommend a shop in the area. After all, that's why we're here. We're supporting others so we dont have to pay more psych fees. :D

I've used a toilet plunger on multiple occasions go get dents out. As long as there's no crease, you're golden.

i had a 2-3 inch scratch from me kind of dropping my bed rack when i was installing it. sucked to see as there were maybe 5k miles on my truck. took it to a paint place to get an idea on how much it costs, was willing to pay like 200-300 for it sure its a new truck. but when they said they would pretty much need to repaint the entire panel and it would go on my car fax i said whatever ill prob get more scratches driving forest roads and doing dumb stuff in the mountains.

still sucks to see, but its easier to swallow 10k miles later

Two separate accidents, drivers side was a drunk driver. The other one my truck was hit at the front and got dragged into the car parked next to me smashing the passenger door. Been in 3 accidents in 2 years, and every time my truck was parked. I have shitty luck.
