    +1.
I expected you to walk in with 2 Pitbulls and no shirt on. Throwing Toyota Camry Gas Pedals @ the Service Manager. Then walking up to him "DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM Here!" & throwing the keys down before he answers. Telling him as you walk away you'll be back in 30 minutes to pick it up with the new TSB.

    Now thats Gangsta!

Something on the lines of that.

However Awesome job to get it done!

Glad you got it done... I thought the story would be more like, "I asked for the TSB, but they said no. I pulled the 6-shooter out of my belt, beat an innocent bystander in the face with the butt of the gun [Goodfella's-style], turned around and politely asked again. They said, OK."

    Whatever works, though!

The OP should be praising the dealership and Toyota who approved the work out of goodwill since the OP is way past the warranty date. A dealership does not make money for doing work for free and without the approval from Toyota that is what would happen.

As many have said before, the suspension design is sufficient for at least 80% of the Tacoma buying public. If Toyota only has to upgrade the suspension on 20% that's a pretty good deal. Also, the three leaf suspension was upgraded in '09 but still it's not as good as the four leaf setup.

I believe that TSB came out in 2008 or something like that. Its been revised a few times to include the 2009 Taco's. You might have been one of the fortunate ones that didnt have any sag when you used the truck bed loaded down. I dont think the OP is ungrateful i think he is just trying to show people that he got it done by Toyota. Goodwill has nothing to do with anything since they have been sweeping these safety hazards under the carpet. I had tofix the problem myself because i was not aware there was a TSB for my 2008. When i told toyota i had fixed it i asked them for the leafs and they said no. They wouldnt do anything since i had already installed the airbags. Even after i offered to install the leafs myself. Good job OP:D I have to stand up for him, i'm the evil friend:devil: who told him about the TSB since i couldnt get it done. I'm jealous but i a'int hating!
