I'm sorry, but losing 3 compressors in 6 months is an INSTALLER issue, not a truck issue. I hope you didn't pay for them.

just curious, how come the other guy's insurance isn't paying for it...why are you figuring that you'd have to pay your deductible?

i'd keep it and get the other guys insurance to pay up...and yeah i'd probably go with the arb in your sitiuation as well. good luck with it.

i love my arb bumper, they are one of the best IMHO. Installation is definetely a 2 man job (look at my pics). just keep in mind that if you get the ARB bumper you will have sagging issues because it's so heavy and you'll have to beef up your front suspension.

Nope...haven't paid a penny for any of em...all warranty. Just the hassle of getting done. Hopefully, this last one will be ok.

I've filed a claim with the other guy's insurance company and have also contacted mine just to let them know what's going on. I should know something sometime next week.

I'm wanting to buy/install the stock one that you have for the time being.
I'm gonna order an ARB but want to beef up the front end a bit before I install it.
In the meantime, I'm just going to swap out the stock one.

Have you brought it to the same dealer each time? If so and the AC condenser goes again try a different dealership.
Not all Yota dealerships are the same. When I was shopping I went to two to do some price shopping. Number one has a piss poor sales staff but their service writers and techs are the best I have ever dealt with, even other car brands. The second had great sales staff, i mean awesome, but their service department sucked bad. I go to the first for all my service even though I bought from the second. I had a similar problem with my fan motor, the second dealership couldn't get it but the first did. Good luck though, even if the AC condenser fails the meat and taters wont!!

It seems to be doing fine right now. And you have a good point: IF it lets go again, It will go to a different dealer

Met up with Samsung today and bought his original stock bumper. It's a perfect match for my truck.
He's a really nice guy and has done a nice job on dressing out his truck. It's a good-lookin' ride.
    Thanks George!!!!

Finally, I was able to get back to my shop and do the repair. Spent more time straightening the bumper bracket than I did replacing the cover:

George, all I can say is: Thanks again".

It's amazing just how flimsy the stock bumper setup really is. Even the fasteners that are used are pretty anemic. Of course, most of today's vehicles are that way, but on a truck you would think it would be a little more heavy duty, but it's not. I'll have an ARB on there eventually. Oh, and I did order a set of bars from ShrockWorks.....dunno how long it will take em to build, but I ordered em.
