so the wife and I go into BJ's Wholesle club for bout 30 mins I come out and some fuckin meatbag hit my drivers side door with either his own piece of shit or one of the carts:frusty: so i hope i never find out who did it. My ? is should I take the door panel off and try to pop this dent out myself or should I call one of those dent doctor people? Tnx in advance for any suggestions.

If there is a any kind of crease caused by the meatbag then you will need to take the door panel off and have it hammered out. If it has just been pushed in I would take it to one of those dent places. It all depends on how bad the dent is.

My taco got hit in the rear quarter, probably from some douche bag that was pulling out. I had a paintless dent repair shop work it out. It cost me $165, but it came out great and I can not really tell where it was hit.

Same thing happened to me when my truck was 6 months old... Judging by the shape and height of the dent, I think it was someones kid throwing open the back door of an SUV. Pisses me off, I feel for ya.

On a new or newer truck, don't pin all of your hopes and dreams on the do it yourself nonsense. That would be a dumb move.

Pay the dent guy his buck fifty to do it professionally and save the second guessing.

See, that's exactly why I try to park as far away as possible from "meat bags". I don't want to risk these types of accidents. Some people are just out to lunch...

Yeah, i always park on the side and/or the furthest uphill and away.

You'll always see some jackass take the time to balance a cart just so uphill in the parking lot away from their car, oblivious (or not giving a $#!+) about the whole gravity thing.

Im the same way, but unfortunately there is so many stupid and inconsiderate people out there its bound to happen sooner or later. I shudder when I walk out and there is a POS 1975 caddy with those huge ass doors parked next to me.

Pay somebody to do it for you.

I hate people who do that. I usually try to park far(ish) from other cars, and never next to a 2 door car if I can help it.

    Good luck to you, and

Second day I had my truck, I was at a party and when I went to leave I discovered a nice big dent in the front passenger quarter panel. The only thing I can think is some drunk f*** punched it because the plastic fender flare is untouched below it and its the perfect shape of a fist or maybe a foot. That slimy piece of crap is lucky I never found out who he was!

Professionally trained, do it day in - day out, proper tools. It is hard to match that on a DIY basis. They've worked wonders for me too.

I try to park at the far end of lots. Unfortunately that subjects you to the drivers who short cut the rows. I hate it when I see them squeezing between my vehicle and the rest.

I think that the running boards help too. I noticed that the forward cap on one of mine was partially knocked out. I figured it had protected my door from a pretty good hit that day.

I hate hearing about shit like this, after my truck got keyed I went to mall security and they said I was not allowed to look at the security tape footage and that "IF" the fayetteville PD felt it was necessary they would request the tapes.

I was pissed.. I just wanted to see who did it and what there Plate number was ... such bullshit.. you should see if BJs had Cameras and ask them to check them
