Sorry this is a long post but i need to vent.

So some ass clown slams into the back of my truck on the way home today. S
I was driving in the slow lane, the one that is about to merge on the next freeway and some ass hat who tried to scoot up the shoulder to get in front of people couldn't get in front of me, so he pulled in behind me. Was cool with that, then traffic in front of me starts to slow so I slow down apparently my LED tail lights aren't bright enough and he slams into me. So I'm pissed, I pull up to the side a bit to allow some traffic to get by if needed, and this bastards drives off around me. So I throw mi truck in drive and chase is ass, while calling 911 on the Bluetooth. The guy realizing he's not gonna get far with all that smoke coming out of the radiator pulls over about 1/2 mile up the road. Two big African American guys jump out and start walking towards my truck. They try to say they were just pulling up to where there is more room. I say that's fine go back to your car and I'll get your info in a second, all while on the phone with 911. So the guys go back to their messed up car and take off again.

The operator says don't follow them, I had already given her the plate # so I'm like fine let them run, my truck only and a scratched bumper and they had a smashed front end. But the CHP finally showed up and took my statement and hopefully they find these ass clowns bastard

Any way thanks for letting me vent my frustration.

I wish I could have done more but know one knows where I would have followed them to or if they had "homies" waiting with who knows what for me. ::mad:

Well since only your bumper just got scratched it was prolly best you didn't follow em. If more damage occurred then maybe. But if you got there license plate and they have a smashed front end chances are they won't get to far.

Yeah I figured as much, but I did have my 24hr carry H/K 40 on me but no need to do all kinds of paper work because I broke leather on some jerk offs. Or get shot myself.

Awww geeeze Cale, Im sorry that happened! :( It's a good thing that you didn't go after them, at least you got a look and can identify them if need be. Perhaps they were bad guys and had a reason to run. If they are the kind that would hurt you then it's a good thing they took off. But it is now a hit and run - if anything they will be in MORE trouble!!

Are you okay? Did you get hurt?

I'm fine no pain yet, he wasn't going to fast I don't think, but when I saw them get out of their car I was thinking fuck these dudes might get crazy and I'm gonna have to shoot someone. My heart was racing. But hopefully they get caught soon.

So your blood pressure is back down. :D

They will get caught. If you got the plate and they didn't steal it, you should be good.

    What were they driving?

Too bad you didn't have one of those monster hook things on the back. You would have seen steam shooting!

They need to bring back the death penalty. A LOT of people don't deserve to be alive now a days. Glad you're fine!

Happened to my dad once, some lady ran into his trailer hitch and her bumper got stuck when she tried to get away! Ripped her whole front bumper to bits haha

I think it was a red Camry not sure of the year maybe 03-05, and I did see steam shooting out. That car didn't go far after, I thought about going to look for it, but it's not worth it at this point. I'll let the law deal with it for now.
