Well someone decided to pull out of a U-Turn lane and hit me right in the front wheel. Somehow he didn't hit the front of me he just pulled out directly into the side of me. The impact snapped all of the suspension on that side and shifted a bunch of the body panels. The rear axle looked shifted but it may have just been the way the truck was sitting on a hill. Luckily the guy admitted fault and his insurance company doesnt seem to be fighting anything. To top things off i went to the tow company to get my crap out of my truck and the truck had slid off the back of the roll back and was resting on the frame. How should I proceed there? I don't know if I should report it to the insurance company because I don't want them to deny fixing it. What should I do about that part? The first 3 pics show the wreck and the last one shows how the A$$hole let it slide off the roll back.

    Woah! That last pic.....

Honestly I don't know how much help I would be. Personally I'd be in the hospital right now having my foot surgically removed from the tow truck drivers ass.

I'm sure with that last picture. If there was clear evidence that there was more damage caused you can file another claim through your insurance against the tow company.
That really sucks though man. Hope everything goes well, might get a newer 2016!

Tow truck driver is an idiot. I'd tell the insurance co. with pics to prove it.

I do have another pic with the tag clearly shown so at least they can't deny it was their truck.

What... The... Hell. Report that the truck was resting on the frame. If the truck has damage (even in the future), but you didn't file a report they won't even consider it their fault. Document everything concerning an accident. You'd rather be over prepared than under prepared. That's unacceptable concerning that last picture. I'd be showing these photos to my insurance company along with the other individual's provider. It's your property, so treat it as anything else you take care of!

As if being involved in an accident isn't enough of a hassle, having the tow truck driver screw up the haul is overkill. I'm glad you got pictures of everything and definitely report all of this to your insurance company. I just can't understand somebody not tying down their load. I just don't know, but I wonder if the tow truck driver had been smoking weed. It's a fair question. Sorry about your accident, and good luck, terps2005.

Like the commercial says, "Trade your wreck for a check"! Or as the dumb sounding chick in the same commercial says, "Trade your rock for a chock"!

Doesn't insurance cover the tow bill in a case like this? I would think anything that happened would still be the responsibility of the insurance company to handle... but maybe it is different in the US?

Everyone makes a big mistake here and there and and I'm sure the tow truck driver feels terrible for his slip up . I would be pissed off, too, but shit happens. However, if he's being a jerk and denying responsibility, that's a different story.

Are drivers responsible for damaged or stolen property?

This is obviously tow drivers fault but are they liable? Serious question.

Hopefully...I'm not out for blood but if he screwed up anything in addition to the accident damage I want it fixed. I want the truck back how it was before I got hit. I don't know how much damage can be caused by the whole rear end smashing down on the frame.
