Sorry to hear about the truck :(. Those Kia's are pretty weak in the front end so I'm not surprised your truck smashed the hell out of it. Good thing you had that aftermarket bumper :). Keep us updated on the repair progress.

There are no car accidents, there are only car collisions.

If you wanted to be more technical, it was simply a transfer of energy.....

Like I said You do nor HAVE the right of way if its not yielded to you....You have a collision if you assume you have the right of way before another yielded it to you....

NEVER assume just because you think you have the right of way another WILL yield it to you. You learn this first thing if you ride a bike 80% of the year. The law means nothing if you are lookin at a messed up truck or worse...

Glad nobody was hurt. When I was in an accident the shop that repaired my truck said there were 11 different paint codes for the indigo ink. They had to get swatches in order to match it up. They did a pretty good job so I can't complain. I think they used Sitkins paint IIRC and if it makes any difference. I can only guess that SWB is just as difficult to match.

Well, got back from the Insurance Adjuster today and their telling me there's only $1,490 in damage...SOOOOOO, looks like i'm just gonna have them fix it. Depending on the amount that I got back I was gonna get Spindles and All Pro Glass...fuck it! As long as it looks as good as before then i'm happy....I just hope they can get the paint to match...I'll keep bringing it back until it does

Thanks for all the nice comments guy, ya'll are top notch...stay tuned for the "Fixed Pics" :D

Okay, so I might just bite the bullet and buy the All Pro Flares and have Maaco paint them SWB, buy new headlights and brackets and call it good...I can always save up a little for spindles in the near future I suppose...IDK what to do...thoughts????
