Today is the first full day I've had with my new truck. Immediately leveled it out and put some new Moto Metal Rims on it with Toyo tires.

Those stock rims and tires had to go. I was embarrassed to even have it parked in the driveway.

This is the SR5 with the 4 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission. It's just for puttering around town and I love it.

I have the same truck but a SR 5 speed 4 cylinder. How does it feel with those 10ply toyo mudders on it?

Very nice, congratulations! What method did you use to level the truck?

It rides real nice in my opinion.

I just drive it around town for the most part.

It's pretty gutless on the freeway. I think it maxes out at about 65mph and to hit 80 you'd need a good tailwind from a hurricane.

The tires are LT275/70R - 18/10 Open Country M/T Traction
    Yes. Spacers.

I like it and will work on some window tint and running boards next.

Then, if the 17 or 18 look good I'll probably bump up to a V6 TRD Sport at some point.

No. I'm not joking. I've already been to the dealer asking about a cold air intake upgrade to open it up a bit. They said they only make that for the V6 at this point?

    Can anyone confirm this.

The 4 cylinder is really really gutless but still fun to drive.

It defiantly helps out alot when starting out on a hill, there is a noticeable difference too when you get it out of the highway and run the gears up.

You do have some fat tires on it, and I'm sure it is gutless due to that fact, but 65 top speed..?

Puy's tires are likely heavier and definitely more aggressive than your tires. MT's look good, but I don't think I could live with them day to day on a the 4cyl.

42's not bad. It looks like the Toyo's are 53lbs a piece in that size, but the weight likely doesn't matter as much as the rolling resistance due to the tread pattern.
